Mint and restricted files?

As a new user of Ubuntu, I've read some magazines that mention Mint
(Cassadra) and was interested in a)opinions of this distribution and b)
the restriced files that it installs. Mainly all of the multimedia
stuff. How can I get this stuff easily with feisty.

They are talking about the restricted formates i believe. Yes you can install
them. There is several ways to install restricted formates.

or installing Automatix

Install Automatix from "getautomatix.com. Install drivers and codecs Open up
synaptic and click search buttop. Type in ubuntustudio. Check install. You have
everything you need for audio and video needs.
