Needs the DX4800 gutenprint driver, but is correctly recognized. Works only with
the gutenprint 5.0.0 release, which is not yet in Ubuntu 6.06 but in 6.10. The
scanner works perfectly out of the box in both 6.06 and 6.10

Your scanner may not even be supported with Ubie. The reason is simple. No
linux drivers for it. Why you ask. Simple. Windows. Any ways here is a link to
