Ham radio programs under Wine (Multitask)

I am only playing/learning Linux and
actually like it. I have successfully loaded Ham Radio deluxe under Wine. Just
click bang install and run. I have tried installing Multipsk under Wine and I
can not get it to work properly. It comes up in a seperate error window
"Impossible to open file in reading mode". It might be somethnig to do with the
attributes of the .exe file I do not know at this stage.

Have you looked in Synaptic at all the Amateur Radio programs?
There just might be something there that will work in it's place.
How about "gpsk31" or "twpsk"?

FLDIGI will do it all, and has a windows version also. This
program does rig control with Grig added and has logging also.

I have been right thru Synatic and the like. even downloaded
Crossover and still the same problem. I have only been learning Linux
for the last four or five weeks after years of using the other operating
system.
I have Fldigi, gpsk31 and twpsk and kpsk plus qsstv and find them great
programs. I am currently into portable psk operations at te local park
here which I really enjoy.I will keep at it but will take some time as
it is purely educational at this stage.
