Not sure if it's high CPU or general network congestion, but I find there
are usually pauses at anything beyond the lowest resolution. It just has
trouble keeping up.

I have no problems on my four year old single core AMD 64.

Is this an issue with hardware acceleration not working? Wrong flash installed?
What is your setup like?

Mine's 1280x1024, but it was the case on 1024x768
