CPU usage

I'm using Edgy Eft and my CPU is often always showing hundred percent usage,
any way to correct this.

What programs are you currently running (ie Firefox, GAIM, KTorrent)? The more
programs you have running at the same time, the more your processor is taxed.

Go to System>Administration>System monitor

Click on the Processes tab and then the % CPU column header to list
processes in order of their CPU usage, highest to lowest.

This will show you which process(es) is(are) hogging your CPU.
