YouTube error for .mov files

Date: Jan 07    Category: Unix / Linux / Ubuntu    Views: 426

When I upload to YouTube, I get a "processing, please wait" message about my
file. I waited for 3 days. It is still processing.

I am uploading a supported file (.mov) and sometimes it works, sometimes it
does not. I cannot find any reason. I know it is Ubuntu related because
when I use my MS machine I do not get the error message.

Anyone have any experience with this?

Also, anyone know when Picasa will support video for their linyx
applications?

I have uploaded hundreds of movies for clients off my ubuntu machine.
Just curious, are you using firefox? And do you have a script block
installed?

I am using Firefox and I am not aware of having a script block
installed. How would I check for that?

I am now considering the possibility that my issue was a bad
connection (my neighbor had trouble yesterday, too) but I am reserving
judgment until I try to upload again.

If you don't know about it being installed, its probably not.
A bad connection will definitely do it.
