9.10 opinion

I just finally upgraded from 9.04 to 9.10.
I had no problems. Im on a Gateway NX570S.
I really like the newer version apps like Inkscape.
Wireless works fine.
The only thing I can see is that its slower to start.
When it boots up, it goes to a black screen with a white
ubuntu symbol in the middle, then to another screen, then
you hear the little "enter your password" tone, and about 10 seconds
later you see where to put that password in. Other than that, cant
say anything negative at all about it.

Do you not like the white logo? I kind of like it it makes me believe
the designer no longer wants to keep aiming at the MS group and
associate Ubuntu with Mac.

I also have no complaints. All things in my puter work with 9.10 where
the 9.04 was a pain making the built in web cam on my toshiba laptop
work. I read there were some problems updating, so I allocated space on
my HD and added 9.10, then transferred the goodies over I need on 9.10.
No problems what so ever.

No. Im not saying that at all. Im just saying that is what happened and
it seems very slow overall compared to 9.04.

I just upgraded in place.
