Installing 10.04 the Caps Lock was on when I entered the password. I spelled itcorrectly both time and Ubuntu took it. Now when I try to change it the softwarecomplains that it is too simple. Its a 6 character PW. Is there anyway ofentering a 6 character PW?
It should warn but ultimately allow you to make your own choice. Itdid not care for my choice but allowed it.
You change the password in System, Administration, Users and Groups.
Chang the password as root, and it will take it, even though it mightcomplain about it.
From the command line, passwd allows any password.
