Last time I checked Puppy Linux had a nice GUI that included floppy disks.

Just checked again, with LuPu 5.28 and it does show the floppy and
open it in a graphical display. It's not ideal to have to boot up
another O/S but it is fast to load and very quick and responsive to
use.
