sata drive not recognized by 9.10 RC Oct.23/09

When doing a fresh install of 9.10 RC, my WD sata drive is not recognized and
wants me to format my secondary drive. I didn't have any problem with 9.04.
Any thoughts on this problem?

That's odd - a transient bug in the rc perhaps?

Have there been previous installs of 9.10 test releases?

I have downloaded and burned to disk one 32 bit and two 64 bit iso's with the
same result.
