Drive Imaging

Date: Dec 04    Category: Unix / Linux / Ubuntu    Views: 311

A local company just (like 10 minutes ago) called and asked if I could
come help install copies of Windows XP Pro and Ubuntu on their
computers. They received a donation of 250 computer and about half will
have ubuntu on them. This obviously wasnt planed out well (or at all)
because no one considered the time involved in installing either OS.

Can someone suggest a Drive Imaging program (other than Ghost) that will
work on both OS's

Clonezilla is very good and highly recommended. I know people who do this
for a living who use it.

Have you ever used Clonezilla? I've used it. Also, if one drive is bigger on
on system than the one on the imaged drive, you may need to use GParted to
resize the drive correctly.
