I found a site that talks about a script (like the right click to access as
root scripts)
that you click on to mount the drive and then you can supposedly access the
floppy. When I get up tomorrow Im going to try that out.

Yea, I dont want to have to install another OS on this machine. The person
who
this is for is already uneasy about Ubuntu but I cant reinstall XP and it
cant
handle another OS. Something will work out.
