I don't know about 11.04, but in Ubuntu 10.10 I had to install the w64codecs
package to play Windows-format steaming content in Firefox. If you use 32-bit
Ubuntu, get the w32codecs package.

680News in Toronto still doesn't stream in Chrome, but it does in Firefox. I
can't test KFYI because they won't steam outside the USA.
