Using TX as a modem

Date: Jan 02    Category: Unix / Linux / Ubuntu    Views: 440

Well, it looks like my Desktop's wireless card is failing (it receives an
abominally low signal, while my TX sitting next to it's antenna gets a high
strength signal). Since I'd rather not buy a replacement card (too much work
ensuring a new card will work), I was curious if there was a way I could use my
TX as a USB modem. I found a piece of software called USB modem, but it doesn't
support non-Treo devices (tried it on my handheld). A bit more searching has
yet to yield anything.

Also, if there's no way to do it through USB, what about bluetooth?

apparently noone knows how to do this
In all seriousness, perhaps you should ask dimitry about it, he knows the
inner workings of the palm OS better than most people and he might be able
to hack something up
You can get in touch with him on the 1src forums or through his website i
think
