Date: Dec 09    Category: Unix / Linux / Ubuntu    Views: 532

I have 2 computers set up as follows:
First one running XP Pro and has a wifi connection - it has no printer.
Second one duals boots into Ubuntu 9.04 and XP Pro, is connected to the
router with a cable, it has a printer attached.

What i want to do is enable the wifi computer to print through the
second computer whether it is in XP or linux.
I understand hat this can be done.

Cab SKS please tell me if I have to use Samba or not and help with any
advice in avoiding any pifalls.

did you setup printer sharing in windows? does it work when both server and
client is windows?for ubuntu , you could use samba and uncomment the line
which says printing = cupsys in the /etc/samb/smb.conf file..
