I have a Canon iP1880. I followed the instructions from here:free.xiaoyenzi.com/.../installing-canon-pixma-ip1880-in-ubuntu-linux\/, but when I try to print a test page nothing happens. I've tried printing atest page in Open Office and nothing happens. Any ideas?
Sounds like you need to install the correct printer driver, did yourprinter work before you installed this one? Also check to see that theiP1880 is set as the default printer.
according to the instructions, that is the correct printerdriver. Unless I'm misunderstanding the instructions. Yes it's set todefault.
