netgear wireless card

i ran a live cd session as a practice run to see if this would
work. i have the latest 8.10 intrepid. im trying to get my wireless
card to work (don't really have my hopes up anymore) i have the
netgear wg311 v3 and i was following the guide here

heres my question, when i get to step "ndiswrapper -l" it spits out
wg311 invalid driver!

what did i do wrong here? any additional tips to make this smoother or
get through this would be helpful.

A lot of wireless drivers are included in the OS ( use the chip
manufactures name ie 'Realtec Rt2500'. Check if yours is too.
If you really must use 'ndiswrapper' point it to the '.inf' file where
you have the original windows drivers.
It works OK and is simple to use.
