I have a dual boot machine and wish to revert back to booting straight
WinXP as I now have a dedicated Linux machine. How do I do this?

Boot your maching using the WinXP install CD,
enter the recovery console (press R when it asks you whether you want to
install windows etc.)
When you're at the console, type:

fixmbr

and that will remove GRUB from your system.
