These are two programming languages easier to learn by ordinary people, based
on BASIC and, in spite of criticism, I am very determined to promote them. I
am just a beginner in both programming languages and I set up a website with my
small programs that i made under
Linux:sites.google.com/.../some-of-my-linux-programs-1
There are some of my other
programs:sites.google.com/.../some-of-my-sma\

The FreeBASIC IDE for Windows can also be installed and used under Ubuntu in
Wine and the resulting programs can be run in Wine with no problems.
Instructions about installing FreeBASIC under Ubuntu can be easily found on the
Web. Ithink that a more fifficult but more useful language for me would be
Python, as it is freely thrown into everybody's pocket who uses Linux, as it is
installed on the great majority of Linux distros. Right now I am struggling with
getting some easier and more comprehensive documentation on Python.
