I was exploring my laptop today and used "lshw" command to list the spec of my
computer. In the cpu tree, I was very puzzled with the results. It said the
following:
*-cpu description: CPU product: Intel(R) Pentium(R) M
processor 1.60GHz vendor: Intel Corp. slot: Microprocessor
size: 600MHz capacity: 1800MHz clock: 133MHz
From the internet examples, most people had size of CPU equal to capacity of
CPU. But, in my case, it was not. I was wondering that are my results normal?
Also, out of interest, when selling why companies quote a 1.60 GHZ speed, when
it clearly can not operate at this speed?
