I have lost my bottom menu bar. How do I get it back? I searched the
group posts but could not find anything as well as Ubuntu forums.
Maybe just didn't know how to search.

go to the top menue bar and right click and new panel. On new panel right click
and properties to set up size and position you want it. Then pick add to panel
and place what you want on it. Assung you are using gnome. Kde you can get it
through settings.

I saw that there but did not know it would
work. I have added what I would like, but it still doesn't look quite
like what was originally there. Can't figure out why it went away.

You can customize your new panel by right clicking on it and adding applets. By
right clicking on an applet once it is added you can move it or delete it.
