Video Streaming

I am doing a project on streaming Video to a PDA from a Windows or a
linux box with IIS or
a Apache web server. I need to develop a Multicast server in J2EE
that can communicate with
a Client written in J2ME. I am using pocketTV MPEG player. I am
looking for some guidance
to do the development
could anyone please help me with that.

I would recommend that you look at jmf for your server  side.
Compile the jmfStudio that comes with and pull it apart,
it will show you a lot about the basics behind what you want.
