Ubuntu Desktop

I'm completely new to Linux and Ubuntu. I'd like to start getting familiar with
it, though. I'm
really DONE with windows. I spotted an Ubuntu system offered for sale on the
net from
System 76, (the Sable desktop model) which specializes in Ubuntu systems. I
don't know what
their reputation is. Does anyone have any anecdotes? Any other suggestons? I
know that Dell
offers an Ubuntu system, but I'd rather buy from a smaller dealer than Dell.
Here's a link to
the System 76 website. I'm not affliated with them at all, in case your
wondering.

You know you can just install it on whatever computer you are running.
I dont know about this company but I personally wouldnt get a 64 system.
Flash doesnt make a player for it, only the 32 bit systems. Actually, I
just learned that today.

Ask them is all the codecs are installed for you. Like flash player 9. If they
are going installl FF 32 but version on there so that FP can play?

I have read several forums where people have liked their solid install and ops.
I have stopped at their store in Tempe, AZ. Their product looks good.
