Toolbar orientation?

Date: Dec 06    Category: Unix / Linux / Ubuntu    Views: 519

How does one change the toolbar from horizontal to vertical, placing on the left
or right? How to you change it back to horizontal, top or bottom?

By toolbar--I mean Applications, Places, Systems and etc.

Just drag it there - click, hold mouse down, drag.

Right click on the toolbar, select properties; choose Left, Right, Top
or Bottom.

Isn't it just like windows? Drag and drop.

both work. the "toolbar" is actually panel and you can have one on all
four sides if you want.

I keep a panel on the right but mostly use AWN which is kinda Mac
like. I am not fond of some of the options of awn vs panel thus keep
panel for a few applets.
