I have been using Version 3 since it became available.OS is Kubuntu 10.10.Never a freeze or dark screen. Only problem has beenoccasional lack of an internet connection - and I think thatthis is my fault through being in a hurry and not waitinguntil the end of the boot before using the keyboard or mouse.
Mine does it only when checking gmail.I could increase the time in between checking.Im checking every 2 min.That shouldnt cause a freeze.
Can you start TB3 so it will log errors?
Same here ,running TB3, but in Lubuntu 10.4 ..........no problems ,auto-copying Gmail messages to POP3 addresses.Also newsgroups run well in TB3,using the free newsgroup provider :eternal-september.org
