Downloaded the xfce DE, and it moved all my icons into a grid, whereas gnomeallowed me to place them where I want. The icons for videos and jpgs also don'thave a small picture in them. Is there any way I can remedy these things?
Same here using Lubuntu...........Icons cannot be be moved at will,but canbe shown in specific ranking eg name ascending/decending (by righthand clickon desktop)
