there is a software called GHOST which makes copies of the partition of one hard disk to another. so i think that this software will serve ur purpose.

But as fas as i know it supports only the DOS Partition and not any NOn-Dos Partitions. Evevn for the NTFS it gives problems often. Please check in the Semantec Site anyway..
