i have developed a software that provides solution for
cablenet guys basically it is all about bandwidth management, well i am selling this software now but the only problem is i am not able to think of any way how i can stop piracy to the software, there are lots of smart people who know linux and since its an open source anyone can learn to get into it which is not the case with windows.

well about my software, i donot give root permission to any of the clients but there are smart guys who can copy harddisk to another harddisk and use the software or even try to hack the software..

can you guys give me any hint on how i could stop this .. let me know as soon as possible
