Server Edition Beta

Has anyone downloaded the beta server edition? Without disclosing any
information, is it worth it? I use 8.10 on a Dell Dimension 4600. I have a
dual-display on a ATI 1500 (VisionTek). I use it mainly to provide DNS and
DHCP services. I am thinking of making it a caching proxy server for both
outbound and inbound web servers.

Please don't flame be about security.

I also use it to browse the web and learn about linux for a few hours each
week. My main file server is a Vi$ta box until I get more comfortable with
linux. That box is a 64-bit box, so I can't wait to put a 64-bit version of
linux on it. I just have a few too many programs that I can't run on Linux
to give up. I am thinking of purchasing a version of VMWare and running
VI$TA or XP under it.

But back to my original question. Is it worth it to try to upgrade my 8.10
box to the beta version of Ubuntu?
