java connection with oracle8 Personal Edition

i have been trying to connect
Oracle 8 Personal Edition with JDBC. i have no problem
doing it using MS-Access, but when i try it with
Oracle it throws Exception. if you have done it
previously plz. send me the coding or drivers needed
to do this.
