Saving Music is VERY slow

Date: Jan 08    Category: Unix / Linux / Ubuntu    Views: 344

Im about to run do a job and I was going to quickly put some music on my
mp3 so this is the first time I have used Fiesty for this. My cd has two
tracks on it. One is 1 hour 12 minutes long and the other 1:08 minutes
long. Using Sound Juicer it took almost 45 minutes to do half of the
first track. Something must be wrong with that because, I stopped that,
grabbed my wifes. ThinkPad with Windows XP Pro and did both in under 2
minutes.

Anyone having similar slowness with extracting music?

Isnt this (the link) talking about burning music. Where Im seeing the
problem is saving it FROM the cd in the first place. Its just very
slow.

No Grip is use for ripping tracks from a audio CD to a MP3, wav. ogg formate. It

time totally got away and I forgot all about doing this -
until last night.

I followed what this guy said. I got the software installed and it
started with no problem. I put in a cd and hit play but nothing happens.
It says its playing but there is no sound.

I tried it too and it will rip the CD but not play the CD. I'll check into it. I
have not thought using Grip as a player.
