playing all the mp3s located in a folder...

Date: Dec 13    Category: Unix / Linux / Ubuntu    Views: 518

is there either a Nautilus script which would enable me to right-click on a
folder and select something like, 'Play all mp3s in folder...' and then then,
say mplayer or some other media player would begin playing all the mp3s in a
folder or is there a command that I could enter into either a terminal window or
command line which would do the same thing?

From terminal cd into the directory.

then type: mplayer *

This will play all mp3s in that directory.

Hit Return key to play next song..
Use directional arrows on keyboard to move around the song that is playing.
