I am looking for a program that would let me do simple text chat between two
laptop computers equipped with wifi cards. My Dell 4000 is running 8.04 Hardy. I
am hoping that such a cross platform program exists so we can do peer to peer
without going through the internet. The goal is to use the laptops for
emergencies through a powerful access point in repeater mode. I am hoping to
avoid a client-server setup because i want everything to be super portable.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
