Last night I installed Fluxbuntu on my 2 GB Jetflash
memory stick (I erased Damn Small Linux from it). It
took a lot of time but it is interesting.
Please tell me, where can I get the live CD version
?

Fluxbuntu: http://wiki.fluxbuntu.org/index.php?title=Get

Did you look? I did a 20 seconds search on Google to find the link?

There are only the installer versions. No option for running it from the live
CD. I installed it on my stick only to test it at home so as to see what it has
and whether it can be installed on a 2GB hard disk (at the office).

The site specifically mentions the Live CD.
I quote from the Fluxbuntu site: "We have tried to make Fluxbuntu as accessible
to users as possible. A user with a moderate amount of computing knowledge
should have the ability to install Fluxbuntu or take it for a test flight using
the "Live CD". A "Live CD" allows you to start your computer up and try out
Fluxbuntu without even touching your regular computing environment. This means
that you have complete freedom to try out Fluxbuntu before you decide to install
it. If you think you would like to use Fluxbuntu on a computer with a full
installation, simply follow the instructions."
