LastPass Update in Firefox and Flock

Date: Dec 05    Category: Unix / Linux / Ubuntu    Views: 538

I just want to let everyone know this, if you close Firefox or Flock down and it
states to update LastPass, which was updated on January 7, 2010, please donot
update it, for the best thing, you might want to uninstall it all together. It
will crash Firefox, freeze it, freeze Ubuntu all together. It took me a whole
hour just to get it off of Firefox. Everything is working fine and running very
smooth now.

Again, it might be for just some user, it might be just for some people, just a
heads up. Something dumps a whole lot of 411 into Firefox and crashes Ubuntu and
you have to keep restarting the computer.

Have you have any trouble since you updated it? it might be for just some
people, I am not for sure. I just know I disabled it and uninstalled for me,
after doing this, it seems to be working just well for me

No problems, everything seems to be working ok. I'm still running ubuntu
7.04 on my main computer. (Haven't updated because everything is working
great, always hated to update a working system-though I'm thinking about
doing so). I like lastpass. I saw it recommended on twit live a week ago
or so. My passwords are a mess, and it really seems to be helping.
