Does anyone here have experience using these two together? I've been
trying to wite java for CF but continue to get an error message upon
compiling. It's always the same and I don't know how to rectify this
problem.

example:
The code
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
import com.allaire.cfx.* ;
public class HelloColdFusion implements CustomTag
{
public void processRequest( Request request, Response response )
throws Exception
{
String strName = request.getAttribute( "NAME" ) ;
response.write( "Hello, " + strName ) ;
}
}
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The error
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
HelloColdFusion.java [18:1] package com.allaire.cfx does not exist
import com.allaire.cfx.* ;
^
HelloColdFusion.java [20:1] cannot resolve symbol
symbol : class CustomTag
location: class HelloColdFusion
public class HelloColdFusion implements CustomTag
^
HelloColdFusion.java [22:1] cannot resolve symbol
symbol : class Request
location: class HelloColdFusion
public void processRequest( Request request, Response
response )
^
HelloColdFusion.java [22:1] cannot resolve symbol
symbol : class Response
location: class HelloColdFusion
public void processRequest( Request request, Response
response )
^
4 errors
Errors compiling HelloColdFusion.
