If anyone wants to consider a different desktop look and feel for your
default Ubuntu desktop, here is a web link that will guide how to
install the Ubuntu Studio theme.

And if you want to add a little more spice to this Ubuntu experience,
go to your System pull down tap, Preferences, Desktop Effects and
enable it. Have fun.

1. Open a terminal window; (Applications, Accessories, Terminal)
in the terminal window copy and paste this:

sudo nautils

[enter you Login password when asked for a password. Nautils will open
in super user mode with administrator privileges]

2. Click the up arrow in Nautils to get to root directory. Find the
etc directory and click on it twice.

Find the apt directory and click on it twice.

Find the sources.list file and right mouse button click on it ans
select open with "Text Editor".

3. Edit /etc/apt/sources.list and put this line at the bottom of the
sources.list file:

deb http://archive.ubuntustudio.org/ubuntustudio feisty main

4. Save the sources.list file by clicking on the Save button at the
top left of the Nautils icon tool bar.
Exit Nautils.

5. copy and paste this command line in the terminal window,:

wget http://archive.ubuntustudio.org/ubuntustudio.gpg -O- | sudo
apt-key add -

6:Next after the above command is finished copy and paste each of
these commands, in decending order and one at a time in the terminal
window, until each has completed it's task ( again, one command line
at a time) from the first listed, second, then third.

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install ubuntustudio-look

sudo apt-get install ubuntustudio-theme ubuntustudio-icon-theme
