Increasing dev/sda

Date: Dec 07    Category: Unix / Linux / Ubuntu    Views: 472

On my harddrive I have three partitions:
dev/sda1 with Windows
dev/sda2 with UBUNTU
dev/sda3 empty.
I would like to increase Ubuntu with the diskspace of dev/sda3.
Is that possible and how?

It is easy, but some steps to take.

I would get a cd of qparted ( http://gparted.sourceforge.net/livecd.php
)and boot into it and then make the changes in size.
