I think you wanna work with oracle database that choose ADF but I suggest you to use

because this is statndard apache version of JSF for best performance and more facilities in designing component  base pages instead of ADF.

if you want to use Oracle Rich Faces you have the following ways:

download latest version of JDeveloper, it has built in ADF Rich Faces
client capability

Oracle has published a demo for ADF Rich Faces, it is a war file that
has also bundled the sources.
download it and copy the configuration files, and jar files from the
its WAR file

what I am saying is Trinidad is ADF core and ADF rich client  is
another set of components
it is just released a few weeks ago
rich faces is a very rich ajax enabled set of components from Oracle.
