Sure, you can replace the screen without a lot of trouble is you have
some basic repair skills and a little phillips screwdriver. Just take
the rubber feet off of the bezel that wurrounds the screen and you will
find screws under them. Take the screws out and you should be able to
work the bezel free to expose the insides of the lid. Then remove the
cracked screen and on the back of it you will find the part number of
it. Type that part number in the search box at Ebay and you will
probably get dozens of hits for that screen and you can buy one and fix
the unit as good as new.
