Oh I know that but mainly the softwares such as Virus and Spam protection and
probably Netflix Instant will stop once Windows XP in 2014 stops supplying MS XP
patches for the Operating System. They usually feel that if there is a bug in
the OS - that the products they supply are vulerable - from my Internet research
on MS 98 - that is what the Virus and Spam software said. I know the MS XP
Operating System will work but I don't dare use it after 4/8/2014 -- without
updated Virus and Spyware protection on the Internet.

I think above post had the best solution for me for Netflix in upgrading my DSL lite
and purchasing the Roku Player and then using Ubuntu Linux from then on starting
2014 -- I am not getting a whole new computer just to run Vista or Windows 7 -
my current computer isn't fast enough and doesn't have the DirectX Graphic
capabilities.
