Did some poking around, redid the configuratin, made driver "ati"

somewhat better ( 1024 x 768 )

cure seems to be Ubuntu HH with vlc; will wait a while on it.

( Not broke, don't fix it )


On a dual boot XP - Ubuntu machine.

quite impressed with Ubuntu, using the Word Processor to the point
where I can do qa on it.
