Canonical has a project called Ubuntu on Android. Depending of the specifics of
the tablet, that might work when it is ready.

There is also a project to port Ubuntu to the processor and video device used in
the UG802 and many other Android devices. It's not ready yet, might take three
months, might take two years.

The processor has a different architecture than the Intel and AMD chips used in
our PCs and laptops, so it's not an easy task. Once the OS is converted, the
applications also need to be converted -- so even if you were able to boot
Ubuntu, I wouldn't count on being able to run Libre Office, for example.

And yes, if one of the specs says 4 GB, that would be the storage device. It's
more like a flash drive than a hard disk.
