This is slightly off topic of Ubuntu but has anyoneused this older hand held tablet I picked one up withall the attachments and wonder if one could load a newLinux type OS? Or anyone have any help in using it.

It depends upon the model that you have. I had a Archos 7 HT. The early versionof this is stuck with Android 1.5, but the newer version has 2.2. Try sitehttp://forum.archosfans.com
