GIMP with single window mode

Date: Feb 05    Category: Unix / Linux / Ubuntu    Views: 428

I have just upgraded GIMP to v.2.7 with single window mode (via PPA),
but have found that I can no longer drag and drop an image to open on
either a blank screen or to add a jpeg onto another image. Am I the
only one with this problem? Single user mode is great, but I would
rather have the capability to drag and drop from the file manager than
have everything in a single window. If I cannot make it work then I
will revert to 2.6, but want to hear from others before I do this.

Thanks. I suspected as much, but that means I have to track down the
problem. It could be a missing library, KDE or something in 11.04.
