I think we need more information

What sort of data is in column  1?
Is it the same sort of data in column 2?
What sort of comparison do you need? (Equal, Greater than, contains, or what?)
What do you want to do with the result of the comparison?
Why do you need to use VBA for this rather than a formula on the worksheet?
What is your problem?
