VBA Interaction Between Excel and Word

I'm not too keen on accessing Word from
Excel VBA code.

Could you please share Excel VBA that
opens up a listing of all Doc files
in the current directory, allows me to
choose a doc file to open, and then saves
the doc file name to the variable xname?
