For one there is no dumb questions. Just the stupidity of not asking in the
first place. The splash screen is the windows that pops up and ask you what is
your user name and after you put it in. It ask you for the password.

When you run a server there is none. I hope this answers your question. If you
like more information. Please inquire and I know the group here will be more
than happy to answer them.

This is one to remember. We have had several people leave the group in
past months who say they cant understand Ubuntu, that they cant get help
or find answers.

Since all posts are moderated - unless you are a very old member - I ran
a check and none of these people have ever asked a question.

I ask plenty of questions that I dont know that seem obvious to everyone
else and, I may not get an answer to them but if I dont ask I wont ever
know.

Thanks for the affirmation that it's OK to ask all kinds of questions in
this group I know enough about Ubuntu to know what I don't know ... if
that makes any sense. I enjoy working with it ... there's just all kinds
of stuff to learn.
