I need to a component for drawing a map in a web application, I should read some data from database and draw map for clients, also clients would be able to change drawing by entrance some arbitrary coordinates.
Also I don't like use applet for drawing directly, I think that's trady on loading. I'm for a better solution!

I found "Ajax map viewer" for this purpose(developers.sun.com/.../ajaxmapviewer.html);
This used in a lot enterprise web applications like Google or Yahoo.
(http://www.google.com/apis/maps/)

Is there anybody who was used "Ajax map viewer" or a good solution for drawing in web?

You can try MapInfo and MapXtreme components, I'm not sure if they can help in any way but i know they provide best map  solutions: www.mapinfo.com .
Also, you can check Dundas Maps: www.dundas.com which as I remeber provides some AJAX solutions.

I am using SVG for a very similar project (GPS enabled map)
you can also use flash and flashlight thats viewable on mobiles two.
generating SVG is so simple, and there are lots of open source SVG viewers available.
