how upate daily datewise data form one workbook to another

Can any one tell me how to copy upate daily datewise data form one workbook to
another.
eg
Workbook 1 is main in which daily data for 20 company like
Date, Open, High ,Low ,Close ,volume ,values

workbook 2 in which there are 20 sheet
i have to update daily data datewise

Please provide much more specific information. What is to go where and why?

Note that "datewise" is not a word with a single specific meaning. You'll
need to indicate what YOU mean by "datewise".
